Luxor our coast is bracing for Irene now. It is a good thing I was at the Outer Banks last week. I took tons of footage and it may never look like that again, so they say. I wish I could be down there with media filming now!

Sftigress - Irene was a baby hurricane when it hit PR. I had bad luck because it passed over my neighborhood at night. Now Irene is a monster. It packs a huge amount of rain in its long tail. If in the last minute you decide to go to the coast, stay in a concrete structure.....and do not go alone. There is no way to stay dry nor to keep your camera 100% dry. Irene had "purple thunder". It was a spectacular show.
