New P5 Contract :exclusivity

I will tell an old tale:
As far as I remember istock, when I was the largest and most popular site, also did a similar thing ... reduced the rate for non-exclusive contributors to 15%. Time passed and istock after that is no longer the largest and most popular site, although it tried to get the bet back. Pond5 want to fall even below?

That wasn't the problem as I was exclusive then and making good money! The problem was when Getty added all my files to Premium Access!!! That is the problem and what we are facing if we don't act now! If it were not for exclusive content Getty would be dead. There are still artist there making good money.

Pond5 has actually come up with a fantastic solution. open a new account. we can still submit non-X content on our regular accounts and make another one where we can submit X content. i'll be able to see what path is more lucrative. it's like having our cake and eating it to....but still having it. This post is coming from my new exclusive only account.

I love it to and am so happy they listened to us and did this. I already have 100 Exclusive files waiting as soon as my account is approved.

Exclusivetravelstock, how do I open a new account to be exclusive? Wouldn't I have to have a different email account? I get paid through PayPal and I only have one PayPal account and they use only one email.

AylorDraw, just create a new account as if you were starting over, that will be a different email. As for paypal, you can use the same paypal email to be paid as your original account, thats added in the pay section after you're approved. But..as a side note, you can have several emails tied to your paypal account to be paid too.

Hey folks, I'm on my way being Exclusive here, but I need some experiences from all perspective here. I have some questions:
1. Does the exclusivity really change your selling?
2. How much the benefits compare to standart account? I mean in the real world selling point perspective and the discoverability on the P5.
3. I saw some folks already having sold clips despite their account is new, I mean really new with fresh and still have few clips on their portofolio page (some have <100 clips, and that was cool man!), so I'll be glad if someone give me some enlightment what's happening here.
I still have very little clips in here, but I have hundreds of new clips waiting for uploaded. I'm already made couple selling on the competitor-next-door (not yet on P5), but it's still few, even not enough to buy me a new battery pack for my cam. And I'm already deleting some of my clips on there, so now I'm on my way having my exclusivity on P5. My thought was, maybe it's a great starting point to make a new life in here. It will be great if someone can share some thoughts, thanks!

So far I’m disappointed with the exclusive thing.
I had hoped exclusive videos were above these steep discounts. That was proved wrong.
At first I was excited that my brand new exclusive account which I move 19 videos from my non exclusive account had 2 sales.
The customer bought them at the HD size which I priced $107
But the price they paid was $85.50 or a $21.50 discount.
My non exclusive videos are priced at $79 so not much insentive being exclusive if no matter what you price they will discount down to a non exclusive price.

Not sure if I’ll put more exclusive videos here with that track record.

isn't the exclusivity thing about video only?
i mean, as far as i know, audio is not included. or is it? or will it be?
