20 april - no money on Moneybookers.... :(

What has happened?

Times are changing :-(, I feel your pain.

21st April - Nothing yet :( Switching my payments to PayPal since now, i will never ever use Moneybookers again.

When the merchant process the payment, it should be automatically and instantly credited to your Digital Wallet.

Please bear in mind that, in order to make successful withdrawals, the e-mail address registered in your account with the merchant should match the one of your Skrill (Moneybookers) account. Therefore, please be advised to contact the merchant about your withdrawal, since it needs to be processed at their end and ask them to provide you with the Skrill (Moneybookers) send money transaction ID number and the e-mail address they have sent the money to.

If the problem persists, please contact us again, providing details of the transaction:
- send money transaction ID number;
- e-mail address to which the payment was instructed;

My credit card company consider Moneybookers to be a gambling and pornographic site. They would not allow the verification transfer of several cents to Moneybookers. I had to send some utility bills instead. In the meantime they got free credit on money owed to me.

I think it is Pond5's screwup, not Moneybookers's. All other major micro stock sites I work with have been able to process payments to MB, including this month. I contacted Pond5 and requested MB transaction ID's and have yet to receive answers from them. Customer service definitely is very slow here.

As for PayPal vs MB, I personally had used PP for years but switched to MB since PP's fees are several times more than those of MB. MB charges 20 USD flat to transfer ANY amount of money from MB account to bank account. PP, on the other hand, charges about 4 (four) times more.
