btw, at one point, i sold sfx for $10. so half a second blip or somth up to 3-4 seconds, for more than your full length track.
and ppl bought them :)
for example this:
http://www.pond5.com/sound-effect/41822550/popping-game-items-sfx.html
i sold it for 10.
thatz why i'm saying, dont underprice so massively...
p.s.: now it's 3.5, im experimenting, as i said.

You are right. I am in the process of raising prices and I also began loading looped versions before you said something :)
I am just editing them now. Thanks for the input!

LRC part of the reason why AS is so big and legit and alot of contributors never have any sales is because of how massive their library is. Unfortunately they were the first library i submitted to because I didnt know jack about the music library game, but they offered to do my publishing for me and fill out all my PRO stuff so i took it anyway. Ive been with them for a year now and managed to sell one full length track, and about 4 SFX. They have one of the largest libraries of all time, which is good but also works against you since you have to have a bulk amount of tracks, or at least a few really good corporate/orchestral tracks in order to sell anything on there. Also Erick if you upload to audiosparx you cannot upload to luckstock. They have a banned list of libraries your not allowed to submit tracks that have been on AS too, mainly because they are the bargain bin sites that usually license stuff for like$5 a track. So you might wanna look into that and make sure your not violating their contracts

Thanks SB! I have actually been talking with AS, and I am quite impressed with their customer service. They are helping me out regarding the problem with selling on different sites. They are willing to working with you.

Yeah barb and the others at AS are awesome with customer response time and clearing things up. They would be my favorite stock audio site if my sales on there were higher. Everything from the track listings to your view counters and account info is grade A.

I am definitely going to keep my prices a little higher. There are still some I need to increase.
This month has increased my average so far on the weekly basis.
9 sales last week, and this week already 4.
I really hope this can keep going the way it is.

Hi everyone.
I sell most of my tracks at around $40 or $50 and average between $500 and $1000 a month (usually closer to $1000.) I'd advise everyone to sell at these prices or higher if you feel you have quality music. Don't sell yourselves short. Low prices on any product usually implies low quality. If you have good music that people need then they will pay for it!
Stuart.

Thanks for the input Mellow! I am starting to see that myself. I have tracks of varying quality, some high quality, so so so, and some a little on the lower quality. Perhaps I should take down my lower quality stuff and raise all my prices. I had a track that never sold when I had it for $12, then I put it for $24 and just got a sale. There is a certain psychological aspect of putting your stuff low --people will think automatically that it's not good quality, and maybe even wonder why you are selling it so cheap.
Also, I think putting it for a low price you are marketing to people with a low budget. With a higher price, you will probably be marketing more to those with a larger budget, and more willing to buy.

guys, i had music priced at $90, got only one single sale in a month or more.
priced at $70, again, a single sale.
at 40, one single sale.
now im at 20/40.
really, the thing with high prices bring more sales, i cant buy that.
ppl want cheap, money is indeed more important than quality.
statistically, i found that. how can you disprove statistics?...
i wish it was different, but im yet to be convinced.
i keep hearing the thing with high prices and low prices,
and i myself am in favour of high and i promoted that through
some threads, starting experiments. but at the end of the month,
really, $90 aint payin any bills.
its just so annyoing.
where are those clients that prefer higher price???
(considering that 6.5/10 bucks for sfx is low, $20 for loops and edits is low and $40 bucks for full lengths is low. or are they high?......)

I think there is a certain point where the price becomes too high for a particular track, and where it becomes too low.
I have been experimenting with quite a wide range of prices. There is a music box track I have that sold pretty well for just 8-12 USD. However, when I raised it to 18-20 USD, it has sold just as much if not more. So, why would I lower the price back down if I am getting similar sales or more?
I think there is a sweet spot price point for any track. I think a track's price needs to be set individually instead of a blanket price. Some tracks may be more original, and thus, if a buyer hears it, they may be more likely to buy it if they can't find anything else like it. These kinds of tracks can be higher. However, a more generic track I believe should be a little lower since they can get something similar to it elsewhere.
This is just an example.
