Super Slow review time anyone?

So, I emailed Pond5 three days ago and asked them why it takes over a month to get video clips looked at. No answer, guess that cue is just as long.

5 million more to photos still remain to be approved. Be patient. I bet curators are tired of so many photos.

Well I don't know that the cause is all those imported photos. I look at the site almost daily and I haven't seen any big spikes in the number of imports being made. Or, maybe I am seeing littler floods without knowing it. At any rate it has nothing to do with all those fractals I make :)

My next batch is still offline. Waiting until I have twelve hundred before I submit again. In the low three hundreds right now.

Let us not foget about Phantom / Don's trip to Europe. Was he boasting something around four thousand shots and clips to upload?

I have to wait until those 4 I have pending are reviewed. Just in case I messed up which I need to know so. I couldn't upload that many that would take me over a month to make 10 let alone anything over 1000. Where do you find the time?

In the past week P5 added 358,922 more photos and 19,494 Illustrations.

apotterdd,

Did you mean me? I make all of my stuff in advance. Then when I am ready to upload I send it to my final rendering software. I have multiple computers running most of the time. I have no set sleep or wake schedule. Just start and stop projects whenever I feel like it. Prior to making VJ loops, slide shows, and deep zooms I was making about 10,000 new fractals a year off one machine. But that all got put on hold pretty much when I had gigs come in to create custom fractal animations.

From the roughly 100,000 (possibly more) fractal images I have made sixty have been used to explore as deep zooming videos. I was starting with the fractals in my Limited Edition series found here:

http://www.allfractup.com/NameGame.html

Some gallery owners got me to make up titles for my LE fractal images. That is what the NameGame page was for. I used some of these for the many art shows I have held over the years.

@AllFractUp I admire your restraint on getting a lot done before you upload. Me I'm impatient LOL I get it done then upload then go make another one then upload.

I did get reviewed and all 4 are accepted so now I know I've got everything done properly so I can now get on with the business of doing more :)

LOL, yes I got a lot of European footage but I'm waiting too. Caritasfounder, thank's for the purchase a while back. These delays are very unusual for P5. Their fast response to questions as well as extremely fast review times were the best in the market and made them the number one stock video agency anywhere.

I think the photo introduction has just beat the crap out of them. I think many wish they would pull the plug on the mass photo loads from RF123 for a while and get the system stable and back online. Then move things along in the "old" familiar P5 way. Patience is a virtue ;)
