I might be able to, haven't played with neo scene yet. It has been a while since you've spammed the forums with it. I miss the Neo Scene selling Jake. Now we have the GoPro selling Don.

Oh, I forgot you were the last hold out buying NeoScene. I bet you're still wearing the last "Members only" jacket too.

Hey Guys, I took Scotts video (With Scotts Permission) and tried to enhance it and remove some of the compression etc.

I am sorta known for my ability to somewhat remove compression artifacts, or matching video to look like another type of video. or generally "fixing" damaged footage.

Anyway....The Autowhite balance in the begining was too much for me to fix, it keep having these random purple flashes. However I was able to sorta compensate for more subtle whitebalance changes. Basically I used the auto color, and used a flicker reduction algorithm.

I would use this camera, but it took a LOT of render time to "fix" the footage. And even then the White balance is the most serious problem with the camera. I dont know how to fix that 100%....yet. But then again if you skydive out ot an exploding plane, no one will complain about the WB.

BTW I shortened my version.

Looks excellent now, good stock potential.

I was looking at this for underwater shots, but there is a problem with the image going soft when the camera is underwater. This is apparently due to the curved lens on the waterproof housing. GoPro will probably fix this on future housings but no fix is available yet. I'll hold off for a while on getting one.

There are a few more things they need to fix before they offer this to the professional market. Here was their response to the white balance issue:

Thanks for replying back with the sample video for review. We do notice how the white balance of the camera does shift from time to time. Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do to change this. We may offer a more professional version of the Hero camera in the future which will have more user controls but at this time the camera is intended to be fairly easy to use for the average consumer.

We are sorry for any inconvenience.
