High Priced Sales for 2024 and Beyond

How are you guys able to price your videos above $149?

Try pricing for $299 and they will still be discounted but will sell higher.

Just saw that they always change my pricing WTF? I put everything since years to 299,- and now they're still up but sell for way less what is this trickery?

Pricing is in the contributor agreement. You signed up for this. They can change your pricing however they want.

Yeah all my clips have been capped at $149. I found a bunch of old stuff in storage that I didn't need for other projects so I went ahead and uploaded them and quite a few of those sold-but considering all my previous sales were over $300 overall earnings are lower.

I buy clips all the time. and $149 is not reasonable. anything above $60 is NOT reasonable. Good luck

I'm sorry to hear you feel that way. When we consider all the costs involved—professional camera equipment, lenses, travel expenses, a capable PC with a quality graphics card, internet, electricity, editing software, post-production work, rendering, uploading, and metadata creation—receiving even 60% of the prices you mentioned is already a modest starting point given the effort and expenses that go into the entire process. Many P5 contributors spend days or even weeks perfecting their work.

I understand the frustration, but P5 does offer solutions for tighter budgets, such as credit packs, subscriptions, and different licensing options that might better fit your needs.

I make videos myself. I carry expensive equipment. Sony A7Siii + drone. I buy tickets and hotel rooms. I know how it's done:)

Well Russian - then you should know the costs. A Sony is just mid-range. Many of us use equipment more in the range of $20-30K. Plus tickets and hotel rooms ;-)) And time. Some of my best clips have taken as much as 50 hours.
All my clips were lowered to $149 max. I have removed some of my top end clips. But I do see that some others clips are still priced way above. Guess they have not been targeted yet. Support said there is no plan to have a third higher tier. Rekindle - I have left some of mine priced higher so will see what happens. I am no longer uploading premium clips. That said, sales are up the last few weeks.
