I'll partner with you next year. You do the shooting and acting and I'll supply the Doritos. 50/50 ......

This does not make sense at all. PD clips with 0 sales infiltrate the lines of clips with tens or hundreds of sales.
Search for something, sort by sales. You will see that more than 20% of the search result at the top of the page is PD with 0 sales.
For example, search with blank search box, you will see PD clip with 0 sales between two files with 283 and 275 sales.
What's the point?

The result with blank search box my first clip (sold 76 times) is in the 1587th place.
What can I add more? after I sold thousands of clips on P5.
What is the result of P5 changes?
For the first time EVER (in years), SS take the 1st place in number of sales per month THIS MONTH!!! with only 28% clips compared with P5.
I never believed but this month happened.

Separate PD into their own search .... It makes no sense to mix them into the RF searches. Having PD will bring buyers (hopefully not just grazers) but the intent (we were told) is to get these buyers to look at RF for sales. So including RF in a PD search makes sense. Including PD in RF search makes no sense at all.

Giving away PD material makes it worthless. There are even costs associated with getting footage from the National Archives. There are many projects I am associated with that have value relating to old archival footage. Projects that help in the archival world to help protect, preserve and restore films from decades ago. While none of this material is directly affecting me, I can see how this PD project can hurt or even shut down important work going on in the archival world. By the way, I'm still waiting to hear from you guys regarding the three clips that were uploaded and sold from my film "Trinity and Beyond" on Pond5 by another seller without permission. You've acknowledged it, you've removed the clips, now make it right by letting the folks who purchased these clips that they are not Royalty Free or PD.

For the guys that are worried about Public Domain killing sales. And in particular mine since I was called out by Wideweb with one of my WWII pilot clips.
Just want to say as I mentioned in the beginning. I don't see anything about PB clips doing harm to our stock clips. It's two different types of clips.
These two clips sold this week for $69 each. When as was pointed out the buyer could have had similar for free.
See Don, my pilot doesn't need a shoulder strap even when he's shot down. :)
