I filmed this yesterday: When the first bolt of lightning fell, I could feel the electricity in my skin.and the ground shake (or was it my knees shaking). This time the white balance was set to tungsten to give that bluish color. This is a combination of 3 clips.(F1.7 - Shutter Speed 180 - Gain 0)


@phantomewo - I just got to go to Alaska before I die. The furthest north that I have been is Vancouver.

This storm was driven to us, due to a supposed hurricane off of California a week ago.. the storm passed through our city in about 40 minutes and dumped 3 inches in some places.



@LUXOR - man - you really have to be more careful.. I have photo of lightning that traveled almost 15 miles out and ahead of the storm.

I ended up shooting this nice time lapse at 6am this morning in a cotton field in rural Alabama. You can see the fog and dew leaving the ground as the sun comes up. It's still being reviewed, but should be available for sale in the next week.
