Yup just read a couple of reviews and also a few suggestions to try a tripod like you described. They sure don't look too difficult to manufacture. Heck with an old tripod with a long center post it might not be too tough. You did well, I didn't notice any of your footprints in front of her.

Thats cool jake, so its basically a monopod with an extra handle. I really like the fig rig: http://www.schnittpunkt.de/Systemhaus/Manfrotto/Bilder/FigRig/neue/p1.jpg ... I was thinking about getting one, but maybe ill just build one of those 'poor man' versions on google images.

Mark, that fig rig is a cool gadget. I was watching one of those reality TV shows and they were using it to follow one of the people in the show..

Don, I'll get Delores to rate your nude clips. I can't bring myself to look :-)
I also had my home made crane but didn't get a chance to use it on this trip. I should have showed it to you though.

Yeah I used a fig rig once on a failed project (it wasn't my project!) I got to chase around some people during a fight scene lol.

and Don, I hope you didn't post nude pictures of yourself, there might be some copyright issues with your tattoos....

Yeah, I uploaded my first clip a couple of weeks ago. Still waiting for review. I was wondering if I'd done something wrong. But after checking this forum out, I guess it just takes a while. Oh well.

Indeed. Just 8 clips to go to reach the 2.4K barrier. :)
