That Refer & Earn campaign was a clever way to get us all to boost traffic for P5 so they could command a higher price at the acquisition table.
Did anyone get any income from that? I tracked over 5000 CTR's from Pinterest and Twitter and not 1¢ of revenue from all the referrals.

Will Adobe still be happy to sell shutterstock / pond5 videos through the exclusive?

Anyone know of a way to bulk download our assets and preserve titles and keywords. Might have to buy a new spearate HD but it could be worth it for a new upload somewhere else.

You can download a CSV file listing all your uploaded items.
Log into your account > Hover cursor over account avatar > Click on Uploads > APPLY CSV
Click on “Apply CSV”.
Identify the type of media you are working with, click the corresponding tab and click Download CSV.
When you click the Download CSV button, a file with an extension .csv will be downloaded to your computer. This is essentially a text file but you can use Excel or the free OpenOffice to work on the data in a spreadsheet mode which is a much simpler way to work with mass data.

Gut wrenching news - finding Pond5 nearly two years back now was like a breath of fresh air. Contributers being valued, able to set our own prices - heaven. My portfolio has been building slowly with increasing sales & now this. I quit stock photography due to the ever increasing downward spiral to the bottom & vehemently steered well clear of any microstock agencies. Sadly I can only see this partnership going the same way when eventually new contracts emerge. :-(

If you asking to download assets meaning your videos. You can't download your own videos.
You could contact Pond5 and ask if they would give you access.
You can download the CSV of all your videos which has titles, descriptions, keywords etc.

Like everyone else I am very disappointed by this news. Pond5 was one of the only stock sites that treated its contributors fairly. Shutterstock is the worst company I've ever worked with. First they approved every kind of low-quality content that flooded the website and made it impossible to be found. Then they started rejecting uploads at random for no reason. They offer no support at all. Worst of all they steal up to 85% of your revenue. You have no control over prices. Every month my clips would sell for less and less until I was only making pennies. I was happy to delete my portfolio there and sell exclusively on Pond5. Claiming the two websites have similar contributor agreements is a joke. They are completely different with how they treat their contributors. I've already started looking at other options and the moment Pond5 starts changing its policies I'm gone.

I hope some P5 owners or someone else can create in the future a similar site where we can establish our prices and have a fair commission and not 15% like at SS. I think most of us would move on that new site once it is created and the under1$ sales start rolling here.

The minute there is a change towards an SS type subscription model I will take down everything. That is the only way to counter the terrible treatment of contributors.I love Pond5 even though I am not here long. What a lovely website, and a fair approach by letting us set our own prices.
