A cool and intense AE Project - this project was created as I needed to create this VFX for a very close friend's motion picture. She wanted to make things more intuitive and realistic - so this is what I created so that we could do with it what we needed on the fly, so to speak:

Are they supposed to put their video in the after part?

No no... it is a AE project file that allows them to be more real using this DSLR simulator for a POV of the photographer. Here is the instructional vid for the project:

I think he is selling that template for the DSLR camera 'viewfinder'. What I don't get is why even show a before and after? Just demo the viewfinder, and use your own footage... then you can sell what they are looking at too.

Well Scott, if you actually to look at it you would see it is not just simply an overlay... there is a lot more to it than that. It is a true simulator with everything being adjustable to make it realistic.
