Bruce I think motion_poland has a point. If you do some thing and it's not selling, more of that same thing isn't going to increase sales. You should try some new styles at least, change direction.

Considering all you have to do is download a free program and run it, I'm not sure what I would price your fractals at. Anyone here could have a 10,000 fractal portfolio if they wanted to. Personally I don't understand what your looking to accomplish with this stuff. It makes absolutely no since to me what so ever...
I'm not trying to be mean, I just don't get it. Any time anyone tries to tell you that though you act like they just don't get it. They are the ones that fail to see the awesomeness that is fractals... I'm pretty seasoned at this, I told you months ago in the nicest way I could pretty much the same thing.

These sites are great, they are a huge opportunity for independent artists, what your doing in my opinion is making a mockery of that opportunity.

Some thing you might not know about P5 is they are very loose with what gets through, they don't police content all that much. (and that's been really great, allot of sales come from that) So your stuff will be online here, but try to put 10,000 fractals through on any of the other sites. It won't happen... It's up to the authors mainly to police what they do, and we do that to make sales, increase views, and push quality. It's a very free system that works really well for allot of us.

I'm not arguing about any thing, as you said, I'm just telling you plainly and honestly. I'm not saying any of this to hurt you, it's not like I don't like you or have some axe to grind. I just see you doing what your doing and feel like you could work more angles. If your goal is to make money, and sales then that's really what I think you should focus on.

We cater to a very similar audience, I have been doing this since 2001 I'm very seasoned and I'm giving you advice to help you grown and benefit, I'm not here to flame you, or call you names, and maybe mockery was a poor choice of words because of it's negativity. I don't think you do what you do to intentionally do any thing, it's just a by product of what you do.. When I hear you say you plan on putting another X number of thousand of the same thing online, honestly I can tell you it's probably a waste of your time. I couldn't watch your whole port in a day, I really doubt buyers are going to search through even 2,000 fractals before they are sick of it. If you don't mix up what you do you only hit one % of the market.
Another x number of thousand can only increase your bottom line by a very small amount. If you don't care about making money or selling your work, then this soap box talk wont matter to you and that's fine but you must care about that to keep plugging away so diligently at it. It's just statistics that only X number of buyers will be looking for fractals, if X is a small number then 100,000 fractals is just as good as 1,000.

Your right though, it's not for me to decide what you do, and if your determined to continue down this path then you won't hear any more from me about it.

Here's food for thought. When was first time you've seen a fractal used in a commercial or news broadcast? Commercials and News broadcast will use CGs such as moving backgrounds, lower thirds and overlays ect. Fractals on the other hand have a very limited audience in video production world. May you should diversify your portfolio by purchasing a camera (dslr or camcorder) and trying your hand at something that is in real demand.
