I am new here, so i wanted to know if i should be submitting my whole recorded raw footage or should i alter it. Ex- the start and end of one of my footage is shaky cause of the pressing of rec button and also should i be eliminating in camera recorded audio. Also, is color grading appreciated on this platform or straight out of camera is fine?

Whenever possible, I try to upload the file straight from the camera. Therefore, I shoot in short clips and I use a unconnected 3.5mm jack in the camera's mic port to block recording of sound. Sometimes, I have to run files through editing software for one reason or another, but I try to avoid it if I can. Obviously, that means that I don't do any color grading.
Every time you decode and re-encode a file, there is a quality penalty. It doesn't matter if you go from a 10 Mbps MP4 file to a 400 Mbps ProRes, there is a quality penalty for decoding and re-encoding. That's why I shoot with the intention of uploading directly from the camera's SD card.
So, to answer your question... straight out of the camera is fine. Others here have their preferred workflows, and there are often good reasons for those, too.

Trim the files and delete the audio with MPEG streamclip
