Who Purchased My Media?

This is the big question I have had since I began uploading. I would like to know where my music is being used.

I can't believe nobody else is interested in what projects and productions their media is featured in. I can understand if P5 wants to keep it anonymous so you can't sell your stuff directly to past clients, at least that makes sense. Must be a taboo subject.

Would be nice but I doubt we will ever know, unless someone tells us, or we spot it in the wild, but I feel the same way I would def like to see where and how my SFX are being used.

This is the policy of all media stocks. You upload your stuff, the company is looking for a potential buyer instead of you, for the promotion it receives 50 percent of the profits from your sales. The buyer enters into a contract with the company. Accordingly, considering the fact that you do not take part in anything at all and come to use the services of the company - you have no right to work with your customers on the side. It would be just not fair. Therefore, no one will ever tell you who bought your material. This is often mentioned in the documentation that needs to be read during the registration process.
I understand that for the authors this information is weighty. That it is useful for resume, for example, if your work was bought by some serious companies. It hurts, but these are rules.

I see it occasionally when I keep an eye out.

I get the business model. It makes sense. It must suck to see your media used on a National Geographic production and k now you only got $20 out of the deal, but what can you do lol. Thanks for the talk guys. I guess it was a dumb question but my brain still likes to clarify when it can.

To be honest, I would just settle for knowing which country it was bought in, and the type of use. I don't need to know the name of the company, the directors shoe size, etc. :-)

In any case, in our time to promote your own website, to pay monthly advertising in social networks and search engines in order to independently find customers will cost much more than this 50 %. And in most cases, it will be some inadequate people (exactly NOT a National Geographic :D ) who will kill all your nerves, and then also refuse to pay for work for subjective reasons. So the business model here is absolutely normal.

Many stocks have a rating system. This means that you generally have the right to receive only 20 percent of sales. And if regular site customer buys your track, you generally earn $ 1-2, ahhhah.
Somewhere in general, nothing is sold for years. Until you start advertising your tracks all over the Internet.
So in this case, this place is the most loyal and adequate.
