Unwanted birds in time lapses

Lacking a device that can keep birds out of a large swath of air, it's common to get undesirable birds speckling a cloud/sky time lapse.
Just noted that on the contributor portal, the 'Footage' page under 'Getting Started' suggests that clips be un-edited as the buyer will make adjustments like color corrections themselves. (https://contributor.pond5.com/getting-started/preparing-your-files-2/footage/)
I would assume that birds peppering your time lapse is the exception and ought to be cleaned out before uploading.
Or is that wrong to assume?
