I would happily pay a small monthly fee if P5 would allow me to re-download my own videos from this site without having to pay for them.
Would save a bit on storage.

We do allow people to download their own clips in special circumstances (a hard drive crash or solen computer, for instance), though I would not suggest using us as your primary backup for your files.

Sure, but i don't imagine it would take much on your end to realize a new income stream for P5 and make that a possibility for the artists. Just a thought.

I'd recommended sticking to being a stock footage firm rather than incorporating a backup service. Offering the 'backup' option also opens new doors to us distributing our work through their system. I.e selling clips and fxping them to other ftp systems....

Hummmm so P5 would be the ISyndica replacement .... interesting concept but not not a good business plan.

Just thinking about certain issues they might run into...
I would love to be able to have access to redownload my clips, but the only time I'd really need them is to sell them somewhere else.. or?
