Seeking advice

I'm looking for advice regarding content. I've had no views all month and only 5 sales since joining last October. I recently added over 200 clips but no action yet

Being relatively new, I'm wondering if anyone can give any tips or advice. Should my portfolio be less broad? Is the quality sufficient? Are keywords okay? Or, do I just need to be more patient and keep uploading? I'd like to know if I'm on the right track. Thanks in advance

The more broad the better because you hit on more topics, and more searches turn up you as a result...As for your keywords it's hard for me to keyword my own stuff so I don't want to advise you on that. There was some thing they used to say a long while back about things taking 180 days to be 100% in the system, not sure if that's still true but if it is then unfortunately you might have a wait until your content is fully in.

Patience is key, but also another thing you can do is get on twitter and follow people who might be looking for your type of content. Then regularly send out a tweet of links to new work... I find that's good for some views here and there and directing some traffic to your portfolio.

Also youtube viemo water marked demo reels showcasing your work isn't a bad idea... Might even eventually make a little $ on youtube depending on the traffic. You can join forums like creative cow and link to your portfolio on your signature... All sorts of different things you can do to get a little more traffic coming in. The trick is finding balance, how much time are you not able to create new content due to the time your spending trying to draw views... Try to figure out what works best and not invest more time then you do on creation. The balance for myself personally is still a mystery...

Find a niche market and excel in that category. Everyone can shoot sunsets and flowers, but what about other necessary yet more difficult shots that a buyer would rather purchase than to have to produce themselves.
