» 2010 December Full Lunar Eclipse time lapse

Post your shots of the rare event known as the 2010 Solar Eclipse. Here is one of mine. This was challenging as the clouds were constantly interfering causing some interesting effects once seen in time lapse. This sequence of shots was adjusted in post, not in regards to exposure, but rather for positioning of the subject to keep it consistently in the same spot. I tried talking to the moon and telling it to stay still, but no such luck. :)

After heavy rains the clouds went away for enough time to get several shots. (ISO 200 - f2.4 - 1/30)
The previous date that a Full Lunar Eclipse took place in the same day as the winter solstice was back in the year 1638. It will not happen again until 2294.

cool stuff! I missed the real deal. It was too crappy here in Ohio to see it.
