Exporting from Premiere CS4 - So frustrating

SerialCoder 23 Dec 2010 23:27
I have been out of the game for a while and got some new software and a new editing system. In the process I lost all of my export presets that I was using for P5 mov files. I have been sitting here for the last two hours rendering and rerendering to no avail. The rendered mov file seems to look pixeled and nasty.

I am importing from native D500 1280x720 mov files and then exporting out as
quicktime photo - jpg
95 quality
progressive
square pixel

Any tips on what i might be doing wrong?

Looks like this is a bug in CS4. I have been rendering as uncompressed AVI and then converting with Stream Clip. Not the workflow that I wanted but it will have to do for now.

CS4 is a bad release. Upgrade to CS5. It's a much better product.

I'd actually use CS3 before using CS4, if I had to choose between the two.
