Is anybody else having trouble with that dropdown menu at the bottom of the "my uploads" page? Whenever I tag new clips, I like to put them in the appropriate bins, but I can't get this to work anymore. It's always been buggy, but now it refuses to respond in any way. Are my clips able to be seen if they aren't in any bin? I just tagged a really important clip tonight and it would be nice to know that it's able to be seen by the public. : )

If you look at the bottom left in the gray bar it says clip bin. Pick the bin you want to put your clip in then go to your up loads page check the clip you want to add then go to the pull down at the bottom. There in the pull key on add to bin and execute.

Clips cannot be added to bins if they are not online. I think we'll write a better ( = any) error message when users try to do this.

I see, that makes sense. Refusal to add bins not online and to prune bins not online from bins when they are set as active did seem like a good idea to avoid annoyance when customers want to add clips to their cart and go to checkout etc.
Naturally it makes complete and utter sense that an artist should be able to insist his clips to be in bins. We'll make this change within a few days. The codebase is in the middle of something right now.

Thanks for the responses, folks. First off, I didn't mean to sound like I was "insisting" on anything. You guys have your hands full maintaining this site and we all appreciate that. I was simply worried that my new clips weren't available to purchase (or less likely to be found) if they weren't in bins. I didn't use to use bins, but when I got to 300 clips, I needed them to help ME keep things straight, lol. From now on I'll wait until clips are online before I move them into bins. Thanks again.

Adding clips not online to a bin should be possible now. Feel free to call me offending names if it doesn't.
Note: They refuse to show up in the search engine until they are online.

Marcus
