Linking to My Profile Issues

I'm brand new to Pond5, is anyone finding that their link to their profile page isn't working? I keep getting the 404 no matter what I do. I'd understand if it said "You need to log in to purchase from this page" but this looks like a plain old "link don't work" message. If any of you with websites have advice as to what I could be doing wrong, I'd appreciate it!

go ask ryan@pond5.com because they shut down as it was causing some confusion with non-contributors.

Our IT team has recently made a design change and now you may access the artist page in a couple of clicks. Click on your Avatar >> then click on Edit Username & Profile >> View Profile Page.

*Please note that when a user is to click on "Edit username & Profile" on your page, it will take them to their page and not yours*

The very brief reason they gave us was that it was confusing for non-artist accounts.

Email I received.

Ah, okay, my concern is what URL to use exactly to send people from my website to my profile. It seems to work if I am looking for my own page and I am logged in but any other way does not seem to work. I *am* able to get functioning links for individual tracks, however. Thank you for the insight!

I see what you mean, if I type your link into the address bar I too get the error, it is something that Pond5 support will have to look into. I have used other users links and they work, so I don't understand why it is just yours that isn't working.

My only theory would be that I hit "change profile name" while setting up my account thinking it worked like a Twitter display name, then panicked and backed out? Maybe the request to change went through? That's the only thing out of the ordinary I can think of happening while setting up my account.

I can send them a message, thanks for looking into it!

Hey Jason,

Ryan here, following up with you on your ticket. We deactivated the link under the avatar (above "dashboard") that went to artist pages because it was very confusing to non-contributors. The best way to get to that page is by using the link you sent before: http://pond5.com/artist/jason#1/2063. Or you you can go to any page on your dashboard and click on the "edit username and profile." From there you can click to go to your artist page.

Please let us know if you have any more questions.

Could send the original photo Ryan sent with this emal.

Did you ever resolve this? Jason clearly misunderstood your issue, but I'm having the same problem with my Artist URL.
