This is really idiotic (not available in my area). For what do we have worldwide internet if they don't give it for free for everyone.

Why should the BBC - my national broadcaster, which I part-fund by paying my TV license fee every year - provide the world with free TV? You need to seperate in your mind the transport mechanism (the web) from the content, and think instead of broadcast rights and who is going to pay for the bandwidth to stream thousands of hours of quality programming to the world. I'm buggered if I want my license fee to go up so that everyone around the world can watch the BBC's output for nothing.

We can't watch the streams on NBC,ABC,CBS etc in Europe either
