Instagramm announced that starting 2013 that all photos that went through their site, they own the copyright and will start sell all photos as stock. The photog gets nothing, it's all for their profit. Pretty incredible. I believe they will back off or likely will fail due to no one continuing to use their site.
They said the only way to avoid this is to delete your account and delete all photos. Pretty amazing and bold.

According to the News broadcast this evening Instagramm backed off that statement.

They really had no choice if they were to survive.

I am afraid they are going to legitimize this kind of business same way Flickr did.

Does Flickr sell the photos as commercial stock? I know most on-line sites maintain they have the right to use all photos and videos for their own marketing and advertisement but no to sell as stock.
