Item 'List Price' Question

MacLiveUK 3 Dec 2021 08:46
Hi Forum team!

I am fairly new here but got a sale on an item I listed at $35 but only received $7.35, I am a UK citizen so wonder how it was reduced to $21 'list price' then sold and I only made $7.35? Is there something Im doing wrong? It says 'NLR' $21?

Hello , I'm new as well. But I believe what ever the sell price is , you get 35% of that.

We used to get 50%, now we don't, also we eat the cost allot on the sales, and basically whatever they want to do. It's all in the contract we have to agree to in order to use the platform. It unfortunately isn't exclusive to this just Pond5, if you sell on other sites they also have there own things they get you on.

Hi, it depends on what contributor agreement you gone for. In my case I've gone for 'Exclusive'. I've cut and pasted from there legal page, see below.

It looks like you may have let P5 set your prices and taken a 40% cut. I would go back and set the prices yourself.

Cheers

Phil
