video zoom from an iphone

hi i am shooting lately many videos with my iphone 12 and like to use the telephoto 2 x so i was wandering if i shoot a video with the telephoto option is the iphone video gonna accepted here?cause when i used the telephoto in photography stock sites rejected the image cause of noise or artifacts.is it the same with a cell video?cause the iphone is not a proper camcorder with a proper glass

I never used iPhone but, if you are using Tele Lens of the iPhone (not the digital zoom) and have a stable footage its probably accepted. I have few footages shot with my 5 year old samsung smartphone so. in order to achieve stabilization, you can use a phone tripod (those things are quite cheap) or you can try to stabilize it with adobe premiere's "warp stabilizer" (its not a magic tool, so not always works but, most of the time saves the day)

As a side note: even if you have a shaky footage, if its not shaking too much and have a smooth movement, it probably won't be a problem but that's kinda difficult when you are shooting on tele.

The answer is yes IPhone or Samsung S22 or similar will be accepted. The best camera is the one you have with you. Now the truth is none of the smart phone cameras compare to a good video camera or a good dlsr. Look at 100 or 200% and cell phone photos and videos the pixels fall apart and are sloppy. Think about it. A great smart phone has a sensor the size of a small fingernail. A good camera has a 4/3 or full frame sensor. The pixel count is almost meaningless. A 45 mp camera sensor is not necessarily better than a 20 mp sensor.

So yes they will accept it but if you are in the profession get a good camera, they really are cheap now.

oooh.. my fav topic. I film with the iPhone 12. Do NOT use zoom, there is no way to avoid artifacting unless it is a slight zoom. Not only does the footage from my iPhone 12 get accepted on Pond 5 it is accepted on the hardest one of all and that is Shutterstock, most of it anyway, way more than my GoPros and Canon with various lenses.
The iPhone is a fantastic device to film with, I have also sold a LOT of media from it. Just know the limitations. Dark.. no.. zoom.. no close up stabilization (within 12 inches) .. no now the good.. capturing life like imagery .. yes, nailing the color profile, very little editing, yes, video sold straight out of the camera.. yes
We can debate all day on the so called best camera, I am going with sales here... the fancy stuff is fun and cool but that's for the show.. my footage is for the dough

ok guys thanks for your answers.my question wasnt if an iphone video pass the test here but if a video i shot using the telephoto lens on the iphone pass the acceptance test...
i have pleanty iphone vids in pond 5 but when i do nature or bird photography and i dont have a camera with me this is an option.i only use digital zoom on the iphone when i post clips for youtube shorts
