How is my portfolio?

Hi, I'm new to Pond5 and stock footage in general. Since I've got 40 videos uploaded I was wondering if anyone has feedback on the clips, my profile, video titles etc. I haven't made a sale but I know it's a numbers game and it will take time. I film on a Pixel 4A and I want to make sure I'm putting out the best clips I can. Thanks!

Hi, I had my first sale when I had 400 videos on my profile. Your videos look good but you might benefit from filming with a proper camera since your clips all have a light white / desaturated look to them. But I find it still impressive what modern phones are able to do. Good luck!

I'd diversify in what you're shooting. Not only scenery.
Also, do you upload straight from the camera? Or I guess you're using a phone?
At any rate, you need to use some editing software to bring up some contrast and saturation.
Flat looking video will get overlooked by buyers. believe me I know, at one time I tried uploading raw flat footage thinking people would want to grade it themselves.
They don't, either they don't have time or are lazy. Either way, they will pick a more saturated video.

Thank you both for the responses. I upload the raw footage but I'll change that with my next batch of videos. Every guide I read or watched in YouTube said raw footage was the way to go. Not surprised they're wrong.

I saw that argument about RAW footage when I started too.
You have to wonder why the same argument isn't in stock photos. You'll never see an unsaturated flat photograph. They would never sell.
It's a visual thing. If I were an editor looking for some beautiful scenery and was choosing something that looked bright and saturated and another that was flat. I'd do with the saturated. Not that the flat was a bad video but the saturated had more of an appeal to the eye.
YouTube videos on selling stock? Are these successful people? how large is their portfolio?
They say RAW is the way to go, then I'd have to look at their portfolios to see if they do what they say.
That's what I would look for.

I set myself a goal of 100 clips uploaded before I could even evaluate the potential of stock footage. I literally made my first sale at 100 live so you’ve got some more uploading to do ;)

You have to look for something unusual or attractive to sell your clips if specializing in nature as this market niche is very saturated. The two variables in the success equation are: the quality of National Geographic magazine and high price of clips. You will get rare but nice commissions. There are no market for cheap and lower value clips. "Ducks in pond" for ten bucks - It doesn't work.
You may want to check out Mizamook's portfolio, look at price and clips quality.
