Replacing a file

Hi guys,
I am new here and I like Pond5.

Just wondering why there isn't an option to replace a file of your existing clips.
I noticed a technical issue in one of mine, didn't want to compromise cart adds and views by creating a new item by myself... So I asked through email to replace a file with a new one I uploaded to avoid cancel the old one.
Today I noticed that the old one disappeared from my items and so the clip is unavailable at the moment, waiting for the new to be approved... So I've lost views, cart adds and, again, the clip is unavailable so far.....I have to wait to be reindexed again and so on.... Probably I've lost some potential customer, I don't know.

Why simply not put a replace option?

I completely agree with this. I had rendered about 50 clips (rendered several container types for each clip due to other uses). I stupidly uploaded the wrong types for P5, but did not catch it, so did all of the details. Then learned I had uploaded the wrong format. I have the correct ones for P5, but I really would rather not have to go through the entire process of re-cataloging. It is my fault, not P5's, but boy that would sure make it easier if I could just replace rather than restart.

Reminds me of the old adage...measure twice, cut once.
