Hi!

I did not look into the Uploads page for few days and noticed there are GREAT changes!

Good job, which (I think) covered all our wishes!

Wow... I mean... WOW! Really. That is some great improvement. :)

But I wouldn't be me if I didn't have some extra ideas. ;-)

Two things actually:
- Option to display associated clips as one entry.
- Option to display associated clips as a group, no matter what other sorting is applied.

Oh, and a filter for "released only", "editorial use only" and "other" would be nice.

I really love this place. You can have ideas, make suggestions and most of it actually gets implemented. Fun, fun, fun. :)

Thanks for both of your enthusiasm :-)

If you click on thumb there will be purple color toggling on and off to show which clips are associated.

We'll most likely redo the association stuff; on search results there should be one hit per clip regardless if it is in hd+ntsc, hd+pal+web etc versions.

We were a bit unlear about associate versions; it was meant for this (one result in search) but is sometimes used for what public clip bins should be used for.

Anyway; we'll make these changes as soon as we'll agree on a good workflow for it. When it is done I'll add the "Option to display associated clips as one entry".

Thanks for your feedback!

If you reupload a fixed versions of a clip, there is a new thing on my_uploads; for all selected clips: copy tags from clip which basically copies everything manually entered from another clip. Please handle with care; there is no rollback functionality.

More changes to my_uploads will come; this was asked for today.

Best regards,
Marcus

Thank you, Markus!

wow! Wow! WOW! (as Varius will say :)

I wanted to have this option when editing multiple similar clips. I thought that template could help but your solution is many many times better.

I tried to edit three clips and it worked just fine.

Thanks,

Zygis

Just to clarify, this means that you can copy info from clips that you have already tagged directly to other clips. It works like a template, but it's mainly for cases where there is a technical problem for a clip that you've already tagged, and you upload a fixed version of it and don't want to go to the trouble of re-tagging.

It's located in the dropdown at the bottom of the Uploads page. Remember that this will overwrite all the info on the destination clip(s), so be careful with it!

Hi, Shedli!

You are right - it worked like template: I copied the info which was in the existing clip to 3 newly uploaded clips and it worked perfectly well!

Of course, after copying data from old clip I checked all keywords and edited few fields but about 95% of fields were there.

Thanks again,

Zygis

Amazing. :)

Do you ever get to sleep or are they feeding you caffein intravenously? ;-)

Wow, I send you an email if I could replace clips, but now I see how I need to do that..
Great new page!
