I just made a photo sale on pond5 a medium size my price is 16 pounds around 20 dollars I expect 10 dollars but ended up with 55 cents the sale being $1.10 , global earnings, ?? I am not sure who bought the image it came under global earnings, my time to edit and upload the image is more than 55 cents, the camera and lens used was $3000 the software around $500 dollars and someone without any effort osys $1.1 dollars any views on this ??

Pretty soon the price we're going to be receiving will be us paying the buyer to buy it. And so it goes in the wild world of stock photography pricing

Unfortunately you will probably be right sooner than later, funny things these global sales are listed as China and Japan by pond5 these are not poor countrys at all, and nothing stops people using a VPN to disguise there location and get a cheap image or video, showing my age but in 1980 a single image in a stock library could easily command £2-300 which then was more than a weeks wages, I earn more than 55 cents a week

I't still better than $0.10 you get on Shutterstock. So, look at the bright side and feel better.
