Attachement uploading

What might be more efficient and useful for uploading attachments such as releases would be a "release bin" type of mechanism.

Hence, if you do a series of footage using the same actors, you would only need to upload the release one time for each, then simply select and attach in the "uploads" area.

Almost similar to a template type of thing. Also the editing of the what the upload is, could be automated this way. It is a real pain when you need to upload the same releases over and over again, not to mention a waste of bandwidth and time.

Just an idea to streamline the whole tagging process.

We've been asked this from several of you and it's on its way. Finally. It should have worked like this from the start I suppose.

Another advantage to this is that you could use templates and CSV to attach releases.

Actually I found a "batch attach" mechanism by accident today. I can only assume you either just implemented that or I simply missed it. :) But the cool thing is it's there under the "write info" at teh bottom left if I am not mistaken. Select the clips and then select "attach releases to checked" type of thing. Is that correct?

I use the "batch attach" mechanism quite frequently, and there's no doubt that it allows us to attach a relase to multiple clips very efficiently. However, it would make things even more efficient if there were an option to attach a release that we've already uploaded. Ideally, it would allow us to name each release (probably the model's name, or a project name if it involves releases from more than one person in the shot) so that we could easily identify them. Possibly offer a full-screen preview function in case we have any doubts about which release is which. Seems like it would also save on bandwith and data storage.
