Got an upgrade!

I was putzing around over the weekend, and just happened to stop by the IK Multimedia site to have yet another long, furtive look at their wares. To my surprise, they're blowing out a bunch of their VIs in a "group buy" promotion. Any full version of Sample Tank, Miroslav Philharmonik, SonicSynth, SampleMoog, or SampleTron for $69. I'd had my eye on Miroslav for a while, but just couldn't justify spending $129 when I'm a bootstrap operation. But for $69 I just had to go for it. I bought and downloaded it Saturday, and created my first piece with it last night, "Heroic Action Theme 2." It's out in the "just approved" thread if anyone wants to hear it. I have a feeling I'm just scratching the surface with this thing and hope to create some great stuff in the coming weeks and months.

IK throws in some other stuff, but it's mainly little bits and pieces of their other products that you can play with SampleTank Free. I haven't really investigated a lot of that yet, still trying to figure out the nuances of Miroslav.
