Stop description field being searchable

"Ryan has stated that: I've confirmed with our dev folks that the description field is included in the search result algorithm in a small percentage."
We have the caption and keywords to "find" clips. The problem with having the description field searchable is that some artists are putting all sorts of extraneous info there. I've seen someone put every tourist attraction in the city in the description field which makes the searches nonsense - mind you I've seen clips with the following keywords (I joke not) : Sydney, Amsterdam, Athens, Barcelona, Budapest, Buenos Aires, Copenhagen, Germany, Gotenburg, Jakarta, London, Moscow, New York, Tokyo, Warsaw plus 20 other cities and countries. How did these clips get through as I know Pond5 has stated that it takes keyword spamming seriously.
Maybe the keywords should not be searchable ;-)
Pond5 is probably the best site we have - keyword spamming has to be dealt with and it looks as though it isn't.

Actually, this works against him. He spends precious real estate on worthless words, while he could have used the same space to promote the actual subject matter of his clips. I don't believe someone bought his boxing clip because he included the country words.

Even though the description algorithm is a "small percentage" it still screws up searches. Deleting the description is not the problem or answer; artists who spam on purpose are the problem. There really needs a "report" check box to highlight and send a clip back to curators when a buyer or previewer sees a clips that is bad or obvious spam. Oh course this can be another problem with self appointed police, so if a person makes too many false reports they are blocked for participating in the report system.
A couple years ago P5 announced the priority reduction of the description field because some artists were spamming bad in it. Reducing search priority did little, cleaning the spam and spammers should be a priority and penalize those artists who try to do it right. We all know everyone makes a mistake once in a while, the problem is those who are gaming the system or spam a majority of the time. Maybe when curators review for quality ... quality is in the words too ... maybe even more important than the actual video quality. Most spam should be caught during curation.

I don’t find how the reviewing of keywords would work when the upload takes place, because the creator could go back and change the keywords after they where accepted. P5 would have to approve each new change in the keywords, and that seems like a huge load of extra time and work. However, the check box idea could be a viable effort.
