Sorry to hear that. As my equipment list grows, I get more concerned about theft myself.
I'm insured via a separate policy via Erie Insurance, who also insure my home and car. My equipment isn't covered by my homeowners either. Cost is minimal for about $10K of coverage. But I don't think this company works for non-US residents.
I regularly have to update my equipment list as I add/subtract equipment.
