WHAT IS THE REVIEW TIME FOR VIDEOS AND PHOTOS??

David Hornchurch - I just looked at your offerings, and most of them are priced the same as mine at $39. The 'approved' videos are nearly a decade old. So, how much are you earning, and how is raising prices a good way to compete with AI generated video?

Thanks for your message it seems that pond5 have tampered with my prices they were in general set to 99 for hd and 199 for 4K, as for competing with AI I can’t and won’t the race to the bottom is not a game i will play in, as you can see this is a small part of my income joined in 2012 and under 3000 videos I removed all of my images a while ago when Pond5’s decided to pay me 20 cents for an image, I will look into adjusting any low prices, and if they are lowered again I will close the account, if I get low balled on a video the same will apply, it will be no loss to pond5 as the majority will accept being paid peanuts for good quality work hence why a lot of people are still here, I make mainly image sales through my own website and if a book publisher or business is happy to pay £350 plus for image use you can see why I won’t accept 20 cents, the interesting thing is at my end the prices are as I placed them they have been changed on the site but not inside my account so I will try to change the price if not all the low price. Videos will be deleted, face facts the industry is not over , but for genuine photographers and video photographers it is

Our curation team is going through everything as quickly and carefully as possible, with some help from a review tool from our parent company, Shutterstock. We've been informed that the current review times are:

​Photo Commercial: 10 days
Photo Editorial: 16 days
Vector: 13 days
Illustration: 12 days
Video: + 1 month"
