atc - Number of Add to Cart

Hi all,

just a thought maybe is silly. I just used above filter an have seen that I have a couple of clips in a Cart but without a sale.

Is it just that people hold clips in this cart any buy it later or what else can it be?

I have a few of those too, without a sale, and was wondering the same thing.

That number counts the number of add to cart, not the number of carts the clip is currently in. So people might just test the site, add clips to the cart preliminary then deciding on another clip, click on add to cart instead of add to bin etc.

It's how I try and anticipate sales, but as you have found out it is not very reliable and I'm learning there might be a 48 hour time delay from seeing it the cart to the sale being recorded, if it goes through smoothly.

It just worked for me, I saw a clip go into the cart two days ago and got the email today saying I had a sale of that clip.

Underwater footage is too sectorial one, but I just like too much to shot it!

So guys, what do you think about to know "Number of Add to Cart" in real time?

You don't seem to be selling to badly, it's about allot of things. You need to have allot online allot of different aspects you cover. With just underwater your right your probably missing some sales. The nice thing is though there are not a ton of people doing that. I never say this but you could probably raise your prices. It's harder to get footage even if it is a niche thing.

I sell pretty well, could always be doing better though. This will be my year I think though, I'm pretty excited about the future of stock footage.
