So far unimpressed with AE downloads

EDIT: I fixed my issue and retract my statement. I'm back to be happy and excited for a long future with pond5.
I've purchased 3 different AE items, 2 from the same artist, another from a different artist. I am now of the opinion it is not the artist fault but whatever engine is involved in providing the files. Since Adobe's move to a monthly license, I'm using Adobe CC to edit these, but opening any of the files talks about a corrupt mov file. I assumed it had to do with it updating to a newer version of adobe, but come to find that in the file system, the actual .mov file itself is always corrupt. In 2 of my downloads, only 1 file is damaged. In my latest download, 2 of the files are damaged and unable to be played/loaded.
I have deleted and re-downloaded my items several times. I've even extracted individual files multiple ways and with multiple different kinds of software but it always results in a consistent damaged file. I'm not impressed and until this is resolved, won't be purchasing from this site in the future.
Again, no criticism towards the community that is providing their talents but buyers beware.

Is it possible that it is a Windows/Apple file comparability issue? Maybe the producer was using different platform? I don't produce ae projects but have had mov comparability issues depending on what codec it contains. Just a thought, and I hope you can figure it out.

Thanks, Physics. I did figure it out. I uninstalled and reinstalled my version of AE. I'm not sure why that made a difference but my experience with computers tells me I should just shut up and let it happen. I'm back up and running and am a happy camper.

Yeah, software trouble can be very frustrating. Glad you figured it out man.
