After Effects CS6 rendering problem

Hello

I am trying a Trial version of Ae CS6 for a 4K photo TimeLapse. In the rendering Queue, I set:

First try:
Rendering setting: Custom "Best Setting"
Output Module: Custome "QuickTime" Output to: Filename.mov
End File is 8GB MOV for 11 seconds 4K T/L movie

Second try:
Rendering setting: Custom "Best Setting"
Output Module: Custome H264 Output to: Filename.mp4
End File is 8mb MOV movie which can't play at all

What did I do wrong? How can I make a 4K photo T/L with h264 in MOV container?

# The Photos are 4000X2248p

Can someone help with this ?

I render a Full HD 12 second in QuickTime, Best setting, the end result is 3.6GB big file. :(

First off you cannot render 4K clips in the H264 codec. You will need to use photo-jpeg for 4K clips

jason

I can't even find photo Jpeg for rendering.
I found Jpeg sequence, Tiff sequence, photoshop sequence, no Photo Jpeg.

BTW Wonder if you can share your workflow on 4K TimeLapse in Ae CS6?

First select quicktime in the pulldown, then in details it will give you a bunch of options including photojpeg etc..

Thanks so much Vadervideo!

Now my 10 seconds 4K TimeLapse (MOV Foto Jpeg) only 800mB big.

Last night I exported/rendering my 4K photo T/L to "Jpeg sequence" (each Foto is around 4mb) with Ae CS6. And I used my Magix Video Deluxe 2013 to make a 4K T/L in h264 MOV. The file is smaller, 554mb and quality is better than Foto Jpeg in MOV.

I found out a new freeware for Time Lapse upto 4K, including deflicking, worth take a look.

Thanks again for your tips.
