How much does original photography matter on a travel service website?

Hi everyone,

I’m working on the website for a local airport transfer and travel service, https://cambridgetransfers.co.uk/and I’ve been thinking about the role of photos and video in making the site feel more trustworthy.

At the moment, I’m considering using a mix of original photos and licensed stock footage for pages covering airports, vehicles, city routes, and different travel situations.

For those who create or work with stock video, what type of footage do you think works best for a service-based travel website?

I’m particularly interested in whether short clips showing real travel environments, airport arrivals, roads, luggage, vehicles, or city scenes actually add value compared with using high-quality still images.

I’d also be interested in hearing how other website owners decide when stock footage looks authentic enough and when it starts feeling too generic.

Do you think a few carefully chosen video clips can make a noticeable difference to a relatively simple service website?
