Quicktime pro trimming and audio removal question

Hi Everybody,

Maybe this was discussed here before, a newbie question,

When I trim my clips in Quicktime pro 7 and remove audio by going to Window/movie properties and delete audio

After I click save, the clip on my comp is ok (no audio and right duration)

but after I upload it to pond5 it has audio and it's original (untrimmed length)

What am I doing wrong

It sounds like you are doing the right thing but two things you can try:

1) When I use QTPro I don't save but do a 'save as' and save it as a new file. I mostly use QTPro for exports though.

2) Make sure it is set to 'save as self contained'.

If this doesn't help let us know what codec your media is.

You can do the same function with mpeg streamclip which is free.
