It will be nearly impossible for 3D footage to be sold here at P5 due to keywording and or categories. If a buyer wants 3D video camera footage he will have to wade through hundreds or even thousands of animation, fractals or CG with very little difference other than color. There are literally hundreds of similar other than color or word display changes.
Even if a search is done for 3D or 3D stereoscopic and only video HD is chosen the results are far from accurate. A buyer should not be required or expected to use words such as "stereoscopic", even that is meaningless on P5 searches.
Based on the NAB and future growth there must be a way to separate video 3D footage from the CG stuff. There is room for both but there needs to be a way for a buyer to search for video versus cg.
On curator review a distinction must be made between various artist submitted 3D products. Help the buyer find what they want not what the seller tries to spam either on purpose, by accident or due to limitations on categories and keywords.
This in not an attempt to put down cg stuff, it's just a big difference in product being offered.
