Refine release set.

I think I have too many releases in one set, and now can't find the new releases to attach them to the new clips. I'm getting a pop up saying that the set is limited to 1000. Does anyone know how to use the filter, maybe I need to reset that to add new releases?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
