I cannot upload footage?

It directs me to a Java uploader & I clearly have the correct version of Java since I checked & It says I should have the pink box & sure enough its pink but when i click the Java loader. It sits idle & there's nothing. I dont understand why bit wont work. I have a mac, everything else I use to upload things seems to work like Vimeo & Youtube. What's the problem with mine?

Any help a mac user out?
