new dropdown menus are extremely annoying

ive found them a bit annoying too, which is not the case with all the new features. They are very large and I agree with some of the others descriptions of them. I've often had them 'stuck' where i need to click off to get them to move back - if that's what u mean jonathan? Windows 8.1 Google Chrome

I think the gray transparent overlay covering the whole screen is most problematic. If you remove this overlay, the popup navigation menu will interact faster probably. Just give it a try to test it. It's just a small change. Transparents could perform very sluggish on some client computers.
