Keywording - uppercase vs lowercase

It seems the keywording input thinks uppercase and lowercase are different words. If you enter 'Nature' and 'nature' it doesn't combine them into one. How's that work for the search end? I haven't done much testing, but this seems strange to me. Keyworders beware :-)

yup been that way for years. We were once told the adding "s" for plural was not needed either. Sure hope that Capital letters are ignored in searches. A result for "Washington" and "washington" needs to be exactly the same ... hope ...

Just did a test and I get the same results. So lower- or uppercase doesn't matter in the search end result. It would be really stupid if you had to keyword differently.

I agree daniel, it would be crazy... But computer don't know any better sometimes :-)

Hopefully this makes no difference, a lot of my old files' keywords all start with capitals and I've slowly been correcting them whilst re-doing my titles / descriptions to avoid repetition and a subsequent arse kicking from Google...

More important is a very large number of old files the P5 keyword system did not use comma separators but instead "spaces".
