That is very cool. That girl is my niece, and she'll be excited to see her clip used.

What I especially liked was when the demonstrator lady said the clip of my niece was "pretty darn good."

When I found it I was doing some learning as I am new to Pond5 and selling stock footage in general. I was stoked to see that it was cbertucio's clip as he was the one who introduced me to Pond5. Good stuff.

The credit says footage courtesy of P5. Great to see them ... purchased or given to them to use? Good way to get marketing.

That clip of my niece was purchased (by someone) way back in February. The tutorial was published May 5th. Did Red purchase that clip and take 2.5 months to create and post the associated tutorial? Who knows.

But that clip was purchased again since the tutorial went public. If that and future purchases were due to the clip being used in the tutorial, then I'm happy.

But I would like to know if Pond5 "gives" away clips to large companies. That would be something I wouldn't take too kindly. They should buy them like anyone else would have to. This is a business, afterall.

hmm... the clock clip has been purchased a couple of times, and the last time it was sold was back in January.
