It's a bit of a pain to have to keep logging in all the time. Would be nice to have a keep me logged in feature.

On https://www.pond5.com/index.php?page=my_preferences there is a "long login" option you can choose.
If your connection changes IP the login is lost too; this is to prevent hijacking a connection. If you have a very shaky internet connection that goes down, that might cause the login to expire if your internet provider gives your a new IP.
We are a bit hesitant to let the login live forever as an account has real money tied to it and that makes it more attractive to the bad guys.

And I'm very happy that you ARE that hesitant. Keep it that way. Keeps the site safer and the database cleaner.
