whewre is my files?

Hi there,
From today, I don't see earlier approved files. Only files in 'pending review' status.
Yesterday, I got email from you with subject: Action Required: Verify your SFX account. Replied with all required DAW screenshots, public links, passport ID, etc.
Yes, I have been warned about this in an email, but.. How long the files will be in offline? 3,4 week, 2-3 month?
Why? I'm shocked, guys, it's looks like a 'We have a many lot of cash or, we don't want doing business together'. Doubtful security policy, given that I twice passed through a confirmation the user account in July and September this year.

Have a nice day and Happy New Year!
Best Regards

Where are my sounds and part of video clips? Today found the lack of sound (SFX) in its portfolio. I have only 4 sfx. Also, why the video clips with sound to move in Sensitive Content? I am totally against it. Why is the video with the tree and the sounds of rain or the noise of the road should be Sensitive Content? Also, I do not see all the clips on the page of my portfolio! Earlier, I sent all the documents requested by you.

I got the same email, and I submitted all the info they wanted and was still rejected from sfx validation. (Meaning all my sfx will stay offline, and I can't upload anymore) I will copy and paste the responses I received from Pond5 support.

Response #1
"After a thorough investigation, we have decided not to place your SFX files back online.
Please understand that the Verification process is very serious, and we may decide that your information is not enough for verification.
Thanks for understanding!

As a reminder, the qualifications are:

• A link to your official website and/or other web presence (e.g., LinkedIn profile)
• A scan of a current passport or country ID
• A full display screenshot from your DAW (digital audio workstation) displaying the original sound file for your most recent Pond5 submission"

Note here that nowhere does it say that the web presence other than a website MUST be LinkedIn and LinkedIn only. Only gave it as an example, which leaves the assumption that other forms can be acceptable.

Response #2
"Hi there,

Here's a more detailed explanation - and please note, all this ONLY applies to sound effects. All your other work is of course still being sold on Pond5 and you are in good standing.

Here's the main issue we're dealing with: lately we've caught some fraudsters attempting to upload other artists' sound effects. As you might imagine, unlike music, it's pretty difficult to check for fraud with individual SFX, so we have to make sure that all of our artists are legit, trusted, and vetted. The legal risk of allowing an unverified artist's tracks just isn't worth it, both financially and reputation-wise.

Unfortunately we're finding that an ID by itself isn't the most effective way to curb fraud. Usually a simple Google search is all we need to do; an official website or LinkedIn page lets us know that we're dealing with real-life person who takes what they do seriously...and not that you aren't, but I hope you can understand our hesitancy about allowing your work on Pond5 when we just cant find a web presence for you."

Note here, that I submitted my business facebook account (which I use for 90% of my business) my company twitter, my company youtube, and my personal soundcloud, which contains every sfx had on Pond5.

Response #3 (After calling them out on how much web presence I sent them, and how ridiculous it was that they say "that they just can't find a web presence for me"

"I appreciate that you sent in you social media profiles, but we need an established, professional web presence. YouTube and SoundCloud are not sufficient. That means we need something like your personal, professional website, or a professional LinkedIn profile that contains references to your media work. If you don't have anything like that, then that's okay, but it will mean that we can't allow any of your SFX items in the marketplace. All other media types remain unaffected, we're only talking about SFX items here."

Its getting ridiculous. If they only accept linkedin as an alternate to a website, than it should state that CLEARLY in the requirements. It shouldn't have that in parenthesis with the e.g. mark. I think I'm going to be calling them in the morning. I've been focusing pretty much all my stock media creation on soundfx right now, and had a nice package I have been working on for over a year, (Over 100 sfx files) which was going to have most of the best of the bunch put on Pond5, but apparently not now. I'm pretty much at the point of demanding that they give me my $20, and part ways with Pond5 entirely.

I can sincearly appreciate how your experience has been frustrating @turtledudeproductions, but our explanation about fraud with SFX in our marketplace was also very sincere. Having your work on your Facebook, YouToube, and SoundCloud pages are valid, business minded decisions. But that's not sufficient for hosting SFX in our marketplace. I'm sorry if our messaging hasn't been completely clear or on point.

Looking over your account and history here, it does not appear that we've really ever been a great source of income for you. So it makes complete sense that you might want to leave the marketplace, especially after all the back and fourth you've patiently put up with from us. If you decide that you're sure you'd like to close your account, just reply to me or whoever else you have an open issue with in support stating that and we'll make sure you receive any remaining balance on your account.

If you do want to stick around though, then we absolutely have to have a professional website/presence or an established LinkedIn profile that references your media work. Again, I do apologize if we weren't clear enough about that, but that is the hard requirement for hosting SFX in our marketplace.

I understand the fraud issue. I really do. But I don't understand why you guys put so much faith in LinkedIn. I also don't understand why you guys wrote the requirements they way you did. If LinkedIn is the ONLY alternate form accepted other than a website, then that should be stated clearly in the requirements. Not using it as an EXAMPLE OF. Your requirements need to be rewritten and explained clearly, instead of sending vague emails with limited explanation of your requirements. Pond 5 is creating a culture of guilty until proven innocent.
