Verizon's "On Demand" Background

I just spotted my first song "in the wild"! Verizon's TV service plays the song below on its "On Demand" menu every 30 minutes while images of upcoming on demand movies flash by!
When I first heard it, I didn't understand what was going on! I thought maybe I had left my computer on. But nope! This made my weekend.
Anybody have experience with whether this is the sort of thing that will generate royalty payments? I've looked on BMI's page (where I've registered the song), and it's a little unclear.
