Working with 4:3 non HD clips

I have been going through the archives and found some older work that I wanted to make clips out of. They are 30p, 4:3 from a GL2.
They look very good after rendering, but I cannot seem to get the requirements correct for pond5 and they will not upload.
Using the 720x480 DV template, rendering to QT7 in Vegas 8 Pro. Swapped from Jpeg B to Jpeg, 29.97. Rendered at 90%. The files are HUGE, even compaired to HD.
Any thoughts or cheap advice?

Hi Movielighter,
You should be using the native DV codec, not photojpeg, if the clips are from the GL2. File sizes will be much smaller, and the quality will be higher.
